Long Island is the only privately funded regional and is funded by the School- Business Partnership of Long Island. The 60 over 60 gala was a night to honor the sponsors that help to fund our program. At the 60 over 60 gala our team members had the chance to meet with some of the leading SBPLI sponsors and explain to them what F.I.R.S.T. Robotics was all about. This was a great opportunity to thank the sponsors for all they have given to help our program. This also allowed our members to meet the sponsors, and them to meet us and let them know first hand, that their help has had such a great impact. Our members helped honorees that have continuously helped to fund F.I.R.S.T. on Long Island by escorting them to accept awards and recognition from SBPLI.
